Marco Morales

A global creative based out of Melbourne, who loves to design, think & explore.

I started as a Web designer and Flash developer before moving into Art Direction at Euro RSCG 4D (Havas Worldwide). I won awards for my work as AD and Creative and even run my own creative agency for a while, Little Big Epic.

My creative work spans from concept to production, for micro-businesses, SMEs and also for global brands, being responsible for creative works for Volvo, Peugeot, Estee Lauder, Unilever brands, FMCG brands (Cote d’Or, Tassimo, Carte Noire) and alcohol (Beck’s Beer, Leffe, Heineken, Voll Damm, etc).

I have also worked for corporate clients: from Legal Aid Queensland to ANZ, Rabobank and Banco Santander, as well as IT and legal institutions.

My technical skills include:

  • Design: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash.
  • Video: Adobe premiere, some AE.
  • I used to be a Flash developer (AS2.0)
  • I also used to be a front-end developer (HTML / CSS / JS). It’s like a bicycle: you never forget.
  • For UX I use Axure and Invision when/where required.
  • I am very familiar with MS Office for presentations to client and process managemetn in Powerpoint, Word (incl. Templates), Excel.
  • I can sketch by hand. I started as an architectural draftsman (used CAD) and sketched by hand (great for diagrams and discussing concepts with Clients) as well as creating wireframes. I also drew comics and illustrations for local and overseas publications.
  • I’m also a DJ, does that count towards Sound direction?
  • I used to do 3D (not anymore) in Maya, so although I don’t do 3D, I understand it.
